Description

A clean lancet arch, open at the heart — simple, architectural, quietly medieval. What you get here is a pointed-arch frame: a tall rounded ogive that rises to a soft point at the top and squares off at the feet, with an open window cut clean through the middle. The profile is chunky and smoothly rounded, more Romanesque-into-Gothic than fussy — no tracery, no crockets, just the essential shape of a cathedral doorway or chapel window pared back to its bones. Shown here in glossy blue, it reads equally as a display surround, a standing frame, or a piece of scenery. It suits a lot of jobs: a freestanding arch for a diorama or model railway, a doorway for a tabletop dungeon or nativity scene, a photo or icon surround, or simply a minimalist decorative arch for a shelf. The flat back and level feet let it stand unaided. Print notes: • Print it standing upright, flat back to the bed — at this geometry the arch bridges itself and needs no supports. • Two or three perimeters give the frame reassuring solidity; raise infill if you plan to top-coat and handle it often. • The broad flat faces show layer lines, so a fine layer height plus a light sand-and-prime pays off before painting stone, timber, or metallic effects. • Scale freely — shrink for a picture frame or enlarge into a gateway; keep the wall thickness proportional so the feet stay stable.
