Entree Bas

A craggy rock face guarding a low doorway into the scene. This set pairs a large layered boulder — the *gros rocher*, built as a stack of weathered shelves and ledges — with a separate entrance panel that slots in beside it, together forming the mouth of a cave or the footing of a walled entryway. The stepped strata read like real sedimentary rock, with shelves you can drybrush to pop the edges and deep recesses that hold a wash beautifully. It is aimed at diorama builders, tabletop gamers and model-railway scenics who need a believable terrain feature to anchor a corner of the board — a lair entrance, a mine mouth, a fortress base. The two parts let you position the sign panel independently or leave it off entirely. Print notes: • The rock prints happily flat-backed against the bed with no supports; the panel is a quick separate print you can scale to suit your layout. • FDM at 0.2mm gives plenty of texture for painting; resin captures the finer strata if you are working at smaller scale. • Prime grey, then drybrush progressively lighter greys with a touch of earth tone to bring out the layered ledges. • Glue to a scenic base and blend with sand and static grass for a seamless tabletop feature.
