A clean lancet arch, reduced to its purest frame. Despite the tags hinting at busts and castles, the model is exactly what its French name promises — *fenêtre*, a window. It is a slim, upright rectangular frame that curves into a rounded gothic (lancet) arch at the top, with a hollow open centre and a modest, even wall thickness all the way round. The blue preview shows a flat-backed piece with a softly chamfered outer edge, nothing else — no glazing bars, no tracery, just the silhouette. That simplicity makes it a versatile building block. It suits dioramas and model railways, dollhouse facades, tabletop terrain and RPG scenery, shadow-box scenes, or a repeated arch motif in a larger architectural build. You could inset acetate for “glass,” back it with printed stained-glass film, or use it as a mould master. Print notes • Print it lying flat on the bed — in that orientation it needs no supports and the arch stays crisp. • Because the frame is thin, add a couple of extra perimeters (or print at a slightly larger scale) so the walls are not fragile. • FDM in PLA is fine for scenery; resin gives sharper edges at small scales. • Easy to duplicate and array into a colonnade or window wall. Honest note: with only a single untextured render to go on, the exact intended scale isn’t certain — treat it as a generic arched window frame and resize to your build.
