Description
The unsung hero of a good display — a stand that holds the pose. The file here isn't a character at all but the base built to show one off: a flat circular disc with a beveled edge, topped by a single curved arm that rises and leans out from the centre and finishes in a small saddle-shaped rest. That gentle forward sweep is deliberate — it cradles a figure so it looks like it's leaning, lunging, or hovering rather than just standing flat. It's the perfect partner for an action figure, a collectible vinyl toy, or a dynamic hero/villain sculpt that needs a little help defying gravity. Print notes: • Print the disc flat on the bed for a clean, level underside; the curved arm will need light supports along its outer overhang, which peel off the smooth surface easily. • Consider printing the arm separately and socketing it into the base if you want a cleaner finish on both parts. • A resin print gives the crispest saddle rest; on FDM, up the infill in the base so it stays weighted and won't tip under a front-heavy figure. • Size the top rest to your specific figure's contact point before slicing, and add a peg or magnet if you want it removable. • Prime and paint to match — a dark base disappears under the figure, a metallic one becomes a plinth.
