Description

A tall lattice panel of open square cells — a clean architectural grille. The design is a slim upright slab pierced by a regular grid of square windows, roughly three across and eight down, with even ribs between each opening and a solid border framing the whole. The effect is crisp and modern: a little brise-soleil, a little shoji screen. The name is simply French for this kind of grid. It is a genuinely useful decorative part. At small scale it serves as a radiator-cover insert, a speaker or vent grille, a soap-dish drainer, or the back panel of a display cube. Printed larger it becomes a room-divider tile, a trellis for climbing plants, a candle or LED light screen that throws a grid of shadows, or a modular wall of cubbies for miniatures and trinkets. Print notes • Stand it upright as pictured, or lay it flat for the fastest, cleanest cells — either way the square openings are self-supporting. • Add perimeters for a sturdier grid if you scale it up; PETG suits humid bathroom or garden use. • Tune the wall thickness to the look you want: thin ribs read delicate and airy, thicker ribs read solid and masonry-like.
