Hellboy

The big red guy, mid-stride, oversized revolver already leveled. This fan sculpt captures a Hellboy-style hero in a classic action stance: a broad-shouldered brute in a long coat, hair swept back over his signature filed-down horns, striding across a cracked, rippled base with a huge top-break revolver extended in one hand. The heavy stone right hand hangs at his side, a tail snakes out behind him, and the rolled-up coat and belt read clearly even before paint. The chunky, cartoon-muscled proportions match the comic-book source rather than the film — a characterful collectible for a display shelf or a painted centrepiece. Print and finishing notes: • Print in resin for the face, coat folds and the revolver's fine edges; FDM works at larger scale but softens the detail. • The extended gun arm needs solid supports and is the most likely casualty during cleanup — print big or pin the arm on separately. • The textured base gives a stable footprint; orient the model upright and let supports catch the underside of the coat and tail. • Sand the broad coat panels and prime in grey to check for layer lines before committing to that trademark red. Best around 150–200 mm as a shelf statue, or scaled down for a tabletop-sized hero. Flat reds, warm skin shadows and a weathered stone hand bring it to life.
