Iron Man Microplakit Series

A whole super-suit squashed into a palm-sized, snap-together bean. This is a heavily stylised chibi take on Iron Man rendered as a "MicroPlaKit" — a rounded, almost egg-smooth body with a helmeted head that plugs on top, and a small loop moulded at the crown so the finished figure can double as a keychain or bag charm. The kit comes as three parts: a body, a head carrying the hanging ring, and an alternate head with no ring for anyone who wants a clean standing desk figure. Everything is pared down to soft curves — no sharp panel lines, just the suggestion of a faceplate and a chunky, cartoon silhouette that is all cheeks and shoulders. It is the kind of piece that looks great lined up with other micro-heroes on a monitor stand or a shelf edge. Print notes • Resin gives the cleanest faceplate edge at this tiny scale; FDM works if you drop to 0.12mm layers and slow the outer walls. • Head and body are separate, so print in two colours — red body, silver-grey mask — and press-fit; glue is optional. • Add light supports under the hanging ring and the chin overhang; the body sits flat and largely self-supports. • Pick the no-ring head for a standing shelf figure, the ring head to thread onto a keyring or lanyard.
