Jonction Etage

A modular corner section built to lock one floor of a model straight onto the next. Despite the fan-art label, this is a piece of architecture: an L-shaped storey junction — "jonction etage" — designed as a building block for a scenic model, wargaming terrain or diorama. One long arm carries a run of square crenellation-style notches along its lower edge, likely register teeth that key it to an adjoining wall, while the return arm rises into a plain raised parapet. A stepped, moulded ledge runs along the inner face, suggesting a floor line or coping where the next tier seats down. It's clean, geometric and utilitarian — a connector rather than a decoration. It's for terrain builders and model-makers assembling multi-storey structures from repeatable parts: castles, towers, ruined walls or modular buildings that need consistent floor-to-floor joins. Print several and the notched edges let you chain corners and walls into a larger footprint. Print notes • FDM is ideal here — the flat faces and right angles print fast and true in PLA or PETG. • Orient one large flat face to the bed to minimise supports; the underside of the overhanging ledge is the only real overhang. • Print at least two perimeters and moderate infill so the interlocking teeth stay dimensionally accurate. • Test-fit and lightly sand the notches before gluing a run together; a chamfer on mating edges eases assembly.
