Description

A crisp rectangular frame with a raised lip and a deliberate break in one rail. The piece is a shallow open border — picture the profile of a picture frame or the rim of a tray — laid flat, with gently rounded outer corners and a slim upstand running around the inner edge. Along one long side the rail steps down and leaves a gap, exactly as if this section is meant to overlap or splice into a matching part; the name translates from French as "floor junction," and it genuinely reads like a connector between two panels. There is no decoration here, just a clean engineering form. On its own it makes a neat frame surround, a tray rim to bond onto a flat base, or a register/spacer that locates one plate against another. As part of a set, the stepped gap lets modules chain together edge to edge. Print notes • Print flat on the largest face — zero supports, and the raised lip comes out sharp. • Because it is thin and wide, add a brim to stop the corners lifting, especially in ABS or PETG. • Scale in X and Y to match whatever panel or base you are mating it to before you slice.
