The French name is literal, a turret linkage, and it fills the gap most castle models leave awkward, letting a line of towers read as a continuous defensive circuit instead of a row of separate objects. It comes as a multi-part kit, which suits the size castle scenes tend to grow to once someone starts building one. Diorama makers, model railway landscapers and wargamers all reach this point eventually and rarely find the joining pieces sold on their own. Finished as stone it reads as architecture; left plain it works as a repeatable building block, laid down as many times as the shelf or the table will take.
