Lobo 2

A brooding, machine-limbed form hunched over a rocky, wave-washed base — cast here in solid model blue. The sculpt resists a single silhouette, and that is part of its drama: two heavily segmented, armoured limbs arc down from a central hooded or helmeted mass, their surfaces studded with rivets and small star-shaped bolts, planting into a rugged outcrop where sculpted water swirls and splashes around the feet. The whole piece bridges into an arch, giving it a coiled, about-to-move tension. It reads as a display and diorama sculpt — a sci-fi or dark-fantasy character base for a shelf, a painting project, or the centrepiece of a larger scene. The integrated rock-and-water plinth means it stages itself with no extra basing. Print notes • Resin is the natural choice; the riveted armour and flowing water texture reward a fine layer height. • Orient with the base flat and expect supports under the arch and the underside of the raised limbs. • The water surface loves a gloss or satin varnish over blue-green paint to sell the wet look; drybrush the armour to catch every rivet. • Hollow the bulky masses and add drain holes to save resin and avoid suction failures on the base.
