Description
The dancing candelabra takes a bow — arms flung wide, three flames alight. Instantly recognisable, this is the charming maître d' candlestick from the tale of the enchanted castle, sculpted mid-flourish. His central candle rises tallest as the head, with an expressive moulded face — brow, nose and a wide grin — pressed into the wax, topped by a teardrop flame. Two slender candle-arms sweep out to either side, each ending in a cupped holder and its own flame, and the body narrows through a turned brass-style stem to a wide flared foot that keeps him standing. The pose has real theatre to it, caught in the middle of a welcoming gesture. It's a treat for fans of the film, a display piece on a shelf or mantel, and a fun paint project in candle-cream, gold and warm flame tones. Print notes: • The outstretched arms are the weak point: print with supports under both arm holders and the flame tips, and orient him upright for the strongest, most natural-looking result. • Resin captures the face and finger-like flames best; on FDM, keep arm walls thick and consider printing the arms separately if spans sag. • The wide foot is a good, stable base — no raft needed on most plates. • Glue any separately printed flames with the layer lines running vertically so painted highlights sit right.
