Lux is Latin for light, and the numeral tells you this is a second pass — the version that came after the designer lived with the first one for a while. Lamps tend to improve that way. Proportions settle, the profile loses its fussier moves, and what is left is a shape confident enough to be looked at with the bulb off. The idiom here is modern-minimal: a sculptural shade of the kind that anchors a bedside table, a hall console or an otherwise empty shelf. Switched on it does the job a shade exists to do, taking a hard point source and turning it into light you can sit in a room with. Switched off it is simply an object. It arrives as a single file, which makes it one of the quicker ways into the printed-lighting habit — the sort of piece people print once and then print again in different sizes for other rooms.
