Description
The name is a workshop label rather than a marketing one, and it says exactly what this is: the main body of a lamp, the sculptural shell that turns a bare bulb into light a room can live with. The form is the whole design. During daylight hours it reads as a quiet object on a surface; after dusk it becomes the reason the corner is worth sitting in. It belongs in the sort of spot that wants presence without clutter — a hallway console, the far end of a desk, a bedside table where the overhead light is simply too much. The body is the part of a lamp people actually look at, and a shape this restrained is worth making twice so a pair can stand either side of a bed. Finished with hardware of your own choosing, it reads as something specified rather than improvised.
