Description
Part rustic tote, part cosy light box. What the render actually shows is a stout, plank-style container: horizontal slats stacked into a chunky rectangular body, capped by a gently waved top rail that dips between two rounded hand-holes at either end. Printed solid it reads as a farmhouse caddy — ideal for corralling TV remotes, craft bits, cutlery, or slipping over a potted herb as a rustic planter sleeve. Print the walls thin in a warm translucent filament instead, tuck an LED strip or puck light inside, and those slat lines and open handles bleed a soft, marquee-style glow across a shelf or windowsill. It's a versatile little form that leans either homely-storage or ambient-lamp depending on how you slice it. Print notes • Designed to run support-free on FDM; the top scallops are shallow enough to bridge cleanly. • PLA is fine for a purely decorative piece; choose PETG if it'll hold anything damp or sit near LED warmth (never near a hot filament bulb). • For the lamp version, drop the perimeter/wall count to 2 and use a warm-white filament so light seeps through the slats. • Print flat on the base — a clean bed needs no raft, and the wide footprint keeps it stable.
