This is a stylised 'fat Funko' take on Mazinger Z, the classic Japanese mecha — a big-headed, small-bodied collectible split into printable components: a base, the head (cabeza) and the Pilder jet that famously docks into the robot's crown. The render shown here is the underside of the display base, stamped in relief with the sculptor's mark — 'FAT POLS · Traditional Sculpting · 3/4' circling a little character badge — the sort of maker's coin that finishes a hand-sculpted collectible. Aimed at mecha fans, anime collectors and painters who enjoy a chunky, expressive figure rather than a poseable model kit. Built as a shelf piece, a desk mascot or a painted gift for a Go Nagai / retro-robot enthusiast. Print notes • Multi-part model: print the base, head and Pilder separately, then pin/glue at assembly — check the head-to-Pilder socket scales together. • Resin is ideal for the crisp panel lines, face and the stamped base lettering at 0.03–0.05mm. • On FDM, print the head upright and the base flat; add light supports under any chin and Pilder overhangs. • Prime and block in the signature red, blue and gold before detailing; the recessed base stamp takes a dark wash nicely. Keep the three parts at matching scale so the Pilder seats correctly on the finished figure.
