Milieu Haut

A chunk of raised rock terrain, cut to slot into a modular scenery set. This is an angular, faceted rock outcrop that forms a stepped ledge -- a lower shelf drops away from a taller back wall, the kind of tiered stone you drop onto a gaming board to break up the table. The geometry is deliberately low-poly, with clean flat planes meeting at hard edges rather than fussy natural texture. Its file set references a large rock and matching grass inserts, and this is the "middle-top" section, so it is built to interlock with companion base and grass pieces into a larger formation. It is aimed at wargaming and RPG tables, diorama builders and model-railway scenery, giving elevation for miniatures to climb or shelter behind. The tiers also make natural line-of-sight blockers. Print notes: • Low-poly means fast, cheap prints -- ideal in grey or brown filament. • Orient a flat face down and it needs no supports; the hard planes come off the plate clean. • Scale it to your miniature base and board grid before slicing so it mates with the rest of the set. • Drybrush the facets in greys over a dark base, then flock the ledges with static grass to blend it into terrain.
