Muraille Haute

A towering stretch of fortress wall, complete with a gothic arched gateway. This terrain piece models a tall, weather-worn rampart section: a pointed archway punches through the lower half, a slim rectangular window sits off to one side, and the top edge flares outward like a corbelled parapet. Small peg holes dotted across the faces show it is built as a modular unit, meant to lock together with matching wall and tower segments to enclose a castle, keep or walled town. "Muraille haute" simply means "high wall," and that is precisely what it delivers: a commanding backdrop for tabletop skirmishes, RPG dungeon crawls, model-railway townscapes or a static diorama. Print notes • Prints happily in FDM; stand it vertically on its base so the archway keeps a clean, support-free underside — or lay it face-up and support only the arch opening. • 0.2mm layers read as convincing stone once drybrushed; go finer only if you want sharper masonry lines. • Leave the peg holes unsupported and clear them with a hobby knife so neighbouring modules seat flush. • A textured stone scheme — grey base, lighter drybrush, dark wash in the recesses — brings the whole rampart to life.
