Murs RDC

The ground-floor shell of a modular building — walls up, roof off. "Murs RDC" literally means the rez-de-chaussée (ground-floor) walls, and that is exactly what this piece is: a four-sided wall enclosure with an open top, a cut doorway on the front face, and gaps left for a window and for the floors above to stack on. In the render the surfaces are smooth and unadorned — a clean structural base you can detail, texture, or leave crisp for a modern look. It is aimed at model-railway and diorama builders, wargamers assembling multi-storey ruins or intact townhouses, and architectural mock-ups. As the base storey of a stackable set, it is the foundation that the upper floors and roof drop onto. Print notes • Print upright with the walls vertical for the straightest corners; no supports are needed while it rests on its base. • Thin walls print fast — 2–3 perimeters give plenty of strength for a display piece. • Leave it bare for a contemporary building, or add brick/render texture and paint it up for weathered ruins. • Dry-fit against the matching upper storeys before gluing so the door and window openings line up cleanly.
