Description
Named after the Roman god of the sea, and leaning on that association rather than hiding it: a table lamp built around a shade with movement in its form, closer to water than to a plain drum. In daylight it reads as an ornament. After dark it becomes the reason that corner of the room is lit at all. It belongs on a sideboard, a bedside table or a hallway console, somewhere a ceiling light is too blunt an instrument and a candle is not enough. The sea-god theme gives it more character than the usual geometric shade without tipping over into novelty, so it still works in a room that is otherwise fairly restrained. A single-file download, so there is one print and nothing to glue together afterwards. A good starting point for anyone building a set of printed lighting rather than buying it in.
