Description

A brooding gargoyle rendered as a display piece — wings, scales and stonework and all. The sculpt (its parts named 'demona') is a winged creature figure set up for the shelf: you can pick out a feather-and-scale textured body with folded wings and a crested head, mounted on a rectangular plinth block and backed by a large round disc that reads as a display base or medallion, with rough masonry worked in around it. It arrives split into two body halves plus a separate base, so a fiddly sculpt can be printed in manageable pieces and assembled. This one is aimed at fans of the gothic-guardian look — a Demona-style gargoyle to loom over a desk, bookshelf or gaming display, equal parts monster and monument. Print notes • Resin captures the feather, scale and masonry detail far better than FDM; if you go filament, drop to fine layers (0.12mm or below). • Print the two body halves and the base separately, as the files are split, then pin and glue the seam — hide the joint along a wing or down the back. • The wings and overhanging crest need supports; angle the parts so tips point down and away from the detail faces. • Prime, then dry-brush the raised scales and stonework over a dark base coat so the texture reads at a glance.
