Phants

A single sweeping curve that can only be one thing — an elephant's trunk. Shown here as a glossy blue render, this part is a smooth, tapering tube that flares into a broad collared socket at the top (where it would meet the head) and narrows down to a wrinkled, notched tip at the reaching end. The gentle S-curve and the ribbed nostril opening give it real character even standing on its own. Honestly, what I'm looking at is just the trunk component rather than a whole animal, so it's best treated as a part — the front piece of a stylised elephant figure, an upgrade or replacement trunk for a larger build, or a playful standalone curio once printed and finished. Print notes: • The arcing curve creates a big overhang, so print it tip-up standing on its collar, or lay it flat and support the underside of the bend. • A glossy filament, or a resin print sanded and clear-coated, will echo that smooth rendered surface. • Check the socket end against whatever body it mates to before scaling — run off a short test ring first. • Fine layer heights (0.12mm or lower) keep the tapering shaft and the textured tip from looking stepped.
