Description
Kaneki is the quiet centre of Tokyo Ghoul: a bookish student who survives an attack and wakes to find himself caught between the human world he grew up in and the predators hiding inside it. The whole character runs on that split, mild on the surface and monstrous underneath, and a figure of him only earns its shelf space if it carries some of the tension. This one is built in the PlaKit idiom, where a stylised character is treated as a model kit to be assembled rather than a solid statue. That makes it a build project as much as a display piece, which is half the appeal of the series. It comes as a multi-part kit, and will suit anime collectors, Tokyo Ghoul readers who want the protagonist on the desk, and printers who enjoy assembly as much as painting.
