Description
The crowning spire for a fairytale turret. *Pointe Tourelle* is the pointed cap that finishes a round tower, and the download includes the full stack: the conical roof (toiture), the structural under-roof it sits on (sous toiture), and the pinnacle finial itself (pointe). The rendered piece shows that finial: a flared, bell-like base rising to a ringed collar, a slender waist, and a plump spherical bulb crowned by a small squared spike, the sort of ornamental topper you see on chateau towers and castle turrets. It is aimed at modellers building castles, dioramas, dollhouses, model-railway stations and wargaming keeps, where a crisp, repeatable turret roof saves hours of scratch-building. Print several and every tower on your fortress matches. Print notes • The finial's sphere is a natural overhang; print it upright with tree supports under the bulb, or split at the collar and glue for a support-free finish. • The conical roof prints best point-up in vase or standard mode, where thin walls slice cleanly and hide layer lines under paint. • PLA or resin both suit it; resin captures the crisp collar rings and spike tip if you want fine detail at small scale. • Scale the three parts together so the roof seats neatly on the under-roof; a dab of filler at the joint blends the finial into the cone before priming grey stone or verdigris copper.
