Description

A round-topped door blank, ready to drop into any build. "Porte droite" is French for the right-hand door, and that is exactly what this is: a tall rectangular slab capped by a clean semicircular arch, with a flat back and modest slab depth. There is no ornament here on purpose — no hinges, no planks, no studwork — just a crisp, well-proportioned archway shape that acts as a canvas. That blankness is the point. It slots straight into fantasy and castle dioramas, tabletop terrain, model railway scenery, or a dollhouse frontage, and it gives you a solid base to carve, emboss or paint your own detail onto — timber grain, iron banding, a portcullis grille, or a heraldic crest. Pair it with its left-hand twin for a symmetrical gateway. Because the geometry is simple and single-piece, it is a forgiving print for beginners and a quick one for batch builders decorating a whole street or keep wall. Print notes • Lay it flat on the bed, front face up — zero supports needed, and the arch is fully self-supporting. • Scale the height to match your other structures before slicing; the proportions hold up large or small. • Give the front face a light sand if you plan to paint, so acrylics and washes grip evenly. • For a heavier, door-like feel, print at 30–40% infill; a decorative-only piece is fine hollow.
