Description
A clean run of iron-style railing, ready to fence off any miniature scene. Despite living under a fan-art label, what this file actually is couldn't be simpler or more useful: a straight balustrade section with a heavy top rail, a matching base rail, and a row of evenly spaced cylindrical spindles standing between them. The proportions are chunky and architectural, reading as wrought-iron or turned-post railing rather than anything delicate. It is a workhorse scenery part. Line several copies along a balcony, a bridge, a staircase, a shopfront or a model-railway platform and you instantly get believable guard-railing. Dollhouse builders, diorama makers and tabletop terrain crews will all find a home for it. Print notes • Prints cleanly on FDM or resin; the vertical spindles are the only thing to watch. • Best orientation is standing upright as shown, so the bars print along their length with no bridging; a light raft under the base rail is plenty. • Scale the length to your gauge (OO/HO, 28-32 mm, or 1:12 dollhouse) and print it in a repeating run. • Paint with a dark metal basecoat and a rust or verdigris wash to sell the ironwork, then a satin varnish so it doesn't read as plastic.
