Rambarde Fer

A gently curved balustrade section for bridges, balconies and model streets. The blue render is an unmistakable railing: a curved top and bottom rail spanned by a row of evenly spaced vertical balusters, sweeping through a shallow arc with a small newel-style post block at the far end. The French title ("rambarde fer", iron railing) matches the plain, industrial spindle look, no scrollwork, just clean structural bars. This is a scenery and model-making component. It fits ornamental bridges, station platforms, quaysides, dollhouse balconies and diorama terraces, and the built-in curve makes it ideal for wrapping a bandstand, pond or spiral landing where a straight railing simply won't follow the line. Print notes: • Orient it standing on its base rail so the balusters print vertically; that gives the strongest, cleanest spindles and avoids support scars across the openings. • Thin balusters are fragile, so resin gives the best result, or thicken and scale up slightly for FDM. • Print a matching straight section, or duplicate and mirror this one, to close a full loop. • File the end post flat so sections butt together cleanly, then paint iron-black or verdigris.
