A pocket-sized tyrant lizard, chiselled entirely from flat facets. Do not let the name fool you — this is a low-poly Tyrannosaurus rex, its whole body broken into crisp geometric planes rather than smooth skin. The big blocky head tips back with jaws parted over a row of faceted teeth, the two little arms tuck up with tiny claws, and a long angular tail tapers to a fine point for balance. Shown here in bold blue, it has that modern origami-meets-dinosaur look that sits happily on a desk or a shelf. It makes a quick gift, a games-night trophy, or a bit of geometric personality for a child's room or an office. Print a herd in different filament colours and line them up by size. Print notes • Faceted models are forgiving — the flat planes actually hide layer lines, so you can print fast and at a lower resolution. • Stand it on the feet-and-tail tripod; in that pose the arms are the only mild overhang and usually bridge fine without supports. • Any rigid filament works, and a single solid colour reads best because the shape, not the texture, is the star. • Bump up the wall count if you want a satisfying heft for a paperweight-style print.
