Rocks Lamp

Lighting borrowed from geology. The body is built as stacked, faceted stone, so the outer wall breaks into planes and ledges instead of running smooth, and that irregularity is what the light works against: broad faces glow steadily while the creases between them hold onto shadow, and the whole thing settles into a cairn-like outline once the main lights go off. Daylight is the harder test for a lamp, and this one passes it — unlit it still reads as a piece of stone on a surface. It suits a bedside table, a hall shelf or the corner of a room that wants a low pool of warmth rather than proper illumination, and it sits happily among plants, ceramics and other natural-material objects. As with any printed shade, pair it with a cool-running LED source.
