Rocksteady

A pot-bellied bruiser who clearly loves his work and his explosives. This character miniature is a stocky, heavyset humanoid with a big round belly, thick arms, pointed ears and a broad snub-nosed face, a pair of round goggles shoved up onto the top of his head. Slung across his chest is a bandolier lined with little capped flasks or bombs, a short blade rides on his back, and both meaty hands rest on the haft of an oversized maul planted on the ground. He stands on a cracked, rocky hex base that grounds the whole pose. He would slot straight into a fantasy skirmish warband or an RPG table as a goblin sapper, dwarf demolitionist or ogre brute equal parts comic relief and heavy hitter. He also paints up beautifully as a shelf character for collectors who like a figure with personality. Print notes: • Resin (SLA/MSLA) captures the belt pouches, goggles and face folds far better than FDM at this scale print at 0.03-0.05mm layers. • Orient tilted back with the base angled; support the underside of the belly, the hammer head and the outstretched forearm. • The integral hex base gives a stable footprint no extra basing needed unless you want to blend it into a movement tray. • Scale to 32mm heroic for tabletop, or blow it up to 75-100mm as a display piece.
