Snap Together Mini Lamp

The little desk lamp that clicks together in minutes — no glue, no screws. This is a miniature of the classic angle-poise / "Luxo" style work lamp, and the render shows its most recognisable part: the bell-shaped hood, tapering to a small hole at the crown with a fan of narrow vent slots below it and a hollow pivot lug moulded onto the side. Three files make up the set — the shade, the arm linkage and the weighted base — all designed to snap into one another so the finished lamp actually poses. It makes a charming desk ornament, a photography or dollhouse prop, or a cable-tidy mascot beside a keyboard. Drop a small LED tea-light or a 3mm wired bulb through the top hole and the vent slots throw a soft, striped glow. Print notes: • Everything is engineered support-free: the hood prints open-end down, the arms flat, the base as-is. • PLA or PETG both work; PETG shrugs off desk-lamp warmth if you fit a real bulb. • Print the snap joints at 0.16mm with 3–4 walls so the clips stay springy but strong; a hair of sanding lets any stiff pins seat. • Print base and shade in contrasting colours for that retro two-tone look.
