Description

A classic pair of nunchaku, frozen mid-swing. Two tapered batons — one thrust forward, the other trailing back — are joined by a short run of chain modelled as genuine interlocking loops rather than a printed smear. The rounded sticks flare slightly toward their striking ends and taper at the grips, and the whole piece is captured in an action pose, one baton kicked out at an angle as if a martial artist has just whipped it around. It's a display and cosplay prop first and foremost — a collector's replica of the iconic weapon, not a functional one — and it looks the part sitting on a shelf beside other martial-arts memorabilia or completing a costume. The interesting print challenge is the chain link bridging the two halves, so plan orientation around it. Print notes • Lay the batons flat across the bed so each cylinder and the connecting links print with minimal overhang; add supports only under the raised loop. • For a print-in-place look, keep the chain solid rather than articulated unless you scale it up and hollow the links. • 0.16 mm layers give the rounded rods a smooth barrel; rotate afterwards and lightly sand the seam line. • Print in a bold red, black or timber-toned filament, then satin-varnish for that lacquered hardwood finish. • Treat as a decorative replica only — not a usable weapon.
