Splinter

The wise old rat sensei, robed and leaning on his staff. This figure is an anthropomorphic rat master standing in a long belted robe, one hand draped over the top of a tall walking staff, the other arm tucked at his side. The sculpt hits all the character beats: a long tapered snout, big pointed ears, a heavy brow, a rope-like tail curling down behind, and clawed feet planted on a patterned round display base. Two small triple-dot emblems sit on the robe like clan markings. It's an unmistakable nod to the fan-favourite ninja-turtle mentor. It makes a fine collector's display figure or a proxy for tabletop games, and a rewarding paint project for anyone who grew up on the cartoon. Print notes: • Best in resin for the crisp snout, ear edges and robe folds; FDM works at 75mm and up if you accept softer facial detail. • Orient upright with a slight tilt and support the staff, the extended forearm, the tail and under the chin. • The base is flat enough to print unsupported — consider splitting the staff to print it vertically for a straighter, cleaner rod. • Cure, then prime; a warm brown robe over grey fur with a wood-tone staff reads instantly as the character. Sand any support nubs on the snout carefully — it's the most face-defining area — and seal with a matt varnish for a display-worthy finish.
