STL Monkey

A cheeky little monkey mid-strut, tossing you a thumbs-up. This is a stylised cartoon primate with a big personality — an oversized head with huge glossy eyes, a wide crooked grin, floppy ears and a spiky tuft of hair flicking up off the crown. He is caught in a lively pose: balanced on one bent leg with the other kicked up, one arm folded across his chest and the opposite arm thrown out with the thumb proudly up. The smooth, bouncy surfaces read like a modern animated-film character, all confidence and mischief. The set includes the body plus a separate tail part, so you can pose or swap the curl of the tail. Print notes • Two files: print monkey.stl (body) and tail monkey.stl (tail) and glue the tail at the join — a quick sand of the seam hides it completely. • The dynamic pose has overhangs under the raised arm, the tuft of hair and the lifted foot; supports there are essential, so resin at 0.05mm gives the cleanest face. • Because he balances on one leg, add a small keyed base or a hidden pin into the standing foot for stability. • Rounded forms drybrush and gloss-coat beautifully if you want that toy-figure sheen.
