Description

A clean, upright block with nothing to distract from the job it's built for. The preview shows exactly what the file is: a solid rectangular prism, noticeably taller than it is wide, with flat faces, crisp square edges and no surface ornament at all. There's no figure, pattern or relief here — just true, watertight geometry. The French filename ("support impression croix") points to its purpose: a base or support blank meant to sit under or behind a printed cross or similar keepsake, giving it a stable footing or a bit of mounting mass. Because it's so simple, it's genuinely versatile. Use it as a plinth beneath a small bust or trinket, a riser to lift a display piece off the shelf, a weighted foot for a sign, or a blank you drill and glue for a bespoke stand. It also makes an easy calibration print when you want to check bed adhesion, wall squareness or dimensional accuracy on a fresh filament. Print notes • Prints flat on the bed with zero supports — every face is vertical or horizontal. • For a display base, 15–20% infill is plenty; push to 40%+ if you want it to act as a weighted anchor. • Sand and prime the wide faces if you'll paint it as a matching plinth; the flat sides take filler primer beautifully. • Scale freely in your slicer to match the object it will carry — the geometry stays clean at any size. Honest note: this is a utility base, not a decorative model. Its value is in being square, solid and ready to build on.
