Support Impression Croix

A no-frills structural block — the quiet workhorse behind a clean print. The file renders as a simple upright rectangular prism with flat faces and square edges, and nothing more. Going by its name (French for "cross print support"), it is a base or mounting block designed to hold a crucifix or cross figure upright while it prints and afterwards while it is displayed. There is no ornament here on purpose: it is a plinth to be topped, glued or slotted onto something else. Use it as a stand under a devotional cross, a socket base for a thin vertical model, or a raiser to lift a figure off the shelf. Because it is a plain solid, it is also handy as a test block for dialling in dimensional accuracy on a new filament or resin. Print notes • Prints with zero supports — a flat face sits straight on the bed. • Low infill is fine for a display base; bump it up if it needs to counterweight something tall. • Add a shallow slot or drilled hole after printing to seat the cross tenon, then epoxy in place. • A brushed or stone-effect paint finish helps it read as a proper plinth rather than a raw block.
