Description
A plain, smooth-walled cylindrical rod — the quiet workhorse of a larger build. The render shows a single upright cylinder with softly rounded ends and no surface detail: essentially a print-ready dowel or support post. The French file name, "support impression fenêtre" (window-print support), and the "(2)" tell you this is one component of a multi-part window-display or mounting assembly rather than a standalone model — most likely a leg, spacer or standoff that holds a printed panel proud of a window or backing board. Because the geometry is so simple, it prints fast and clean and rescales easily to whatever diameter and length your assembly calls for. Pair it with the matching bracket or panel pieces from the same set. Print notes: • Print upright on a flat end for the roundest cross-section; no supports are needed in that orientation. • Two or three perimeters with 15–20% infill is plenty for a light strut; add perimeters if it will bear weight. • For a press-fit into a socket, scale the diameter to 98–99% or add a small slicing tolerance. • Printed on its side it will need light supports and will show layer flats — stand it vertical unless bed adhesion forces otherwise.
