Description
A clean, no-nonsense cylindrical support rod rendered in glossy blue. What you are looking at is exactly what the French label promises — "support impression fenêtre," a window-print support post. The model is a single smooth, straight cylinder with softly rounded ends: no ornament, no seams, no surface detail, just a precisely turned dowel-style column. Parts like this earn their keep as spacers, standoffs, mounting posts or structural pillars inside a larger window-display or print-mounting assembly, holding a pane, panel or backdrop at a fixed distance from its frame. Because the geometry is so simple, it is one of the most forgiving prints you can run — handy for dialling in a fresh filament or checking dimensional accuracy before committing to a bigger job. If it plugs into a mating part, run a short test stub first and check the fit; a few tenths of a millimetre either way will decide whether it presses home cleanly or spins loose. Print notes • Stand it upright on one flat end for the roundest, most concentric wall — no supports needed in that orientation. • Three to four perimeters with 20–30% infill give a rigid, load-bearing post. • Only lay it flat if you specifically need the ends dead flat, and add a brim so it can't roll during the first layers.
