Swamp Thing

A hulking bog-born brute dragging itself out of the muck. This figurine sculpts a towering plant-creature hunched forward in mid-stride, its heavy shoulders and thick arms knotted from woven vines and fibrous muscle. Ropey tendrils and root-like strands trail from its forearms and back, and a mossy, overgrown mane frames a deep-browed, snarling face. The whole mass rises from a rocky, root-tangled base that reads like the edge of a swamp, with creeping vines spilling onto the ground plate. Rendered here in solid blue study colour, it's a natural for comic and horror fans, a painter's dream for greens, browns and wet washes, and a commanding shelf or tabletop piece. The organic, gnarled surface hides layer lines well and rewards heavy drybrushing. Print notes • Resin gives the sharpest vines and facial detail, but the chunky forms print well on FDM too. • Print upright; add supports under the outstretched arm, the overhanging tendrils and the brow. • The figure and its integral base come as one piece — hollow larger prints and add a drain hole to save resin. • Great from 75 mm tabletop scale up to a 200 mm+ display statue; larger sizes really show off the woven-vine texture.
