The classic silhouette reads instantly: a bulky, boxy skull with a hinged jaw, a thick muscular neck, that barrel chest tapering into a long counterbalancing tail, and the famously tiny two-clawed forearms held up in front. The hind legs are heavy and columnar, splaying into three-toed feet that give the print a stable footprint. Every surface is angular, so light breaks across it in sharp highlights and hard shadows — the whole point of the style. It looks like a modern faceted sculpture rather than a realistic dino, which is exactly its charm.
