Few silhouettes are as instantly readable as an Imperial short-range fighter: a spherical cockpit pod slung between two flat, angular wing panels. That shape translates unusually well into lighting, because the panels are broad planes and the pod anchors the middle of the composition, so the object reads as itself from any angle in the room. This is a desk or shelf piece rather than a room light — the sort of thing that sits beside a monitor and marks out a corner of a room as somebody's. Anyone who built the plastic kits, played the flight sims, or simply grew up with the films will name it from the doorway without being told. A single-file design, and a good candidate for a home office, a games room, or a shelf that has run out of ideas.
