Description

A fairy-tale turret roof crowned by a slender, egg-tipped spire. This is the pointed cap of a castle tower rendered as an open framework: a bank of thin curved ribs flares out from a moulded collar like the spokes of a half-furled umbrella, then draws back in to a turned baluster neck and a smooth ovoid finial at the very top. It reads instantly as the roofline of a wizard's tower or a storybook chateau, and the set comes as two matched STLs — the ribbed "Toit" roof cage and the separate "Pointe" spire tip — so you can print, paint and stack them to suit whatever you are building. Drop it onto a scratch-built keep, a wargaming fortress or a dolls'-house cupola, or print it solo as a desk curio. At tabletop scale it slots in beside 28mm terrain; sized up it becomes a mantel ornament or a whimsical cake-topper turret. Print notes: • Stand the spire finial vertically for a clean ovoid; the fine roof ribs like a slow first layer and a brim to stay put. • Tree or light supports under the flaring ribs keep the sweep tidy — angle them so any scars land on the inner face. • 0.12–0.16mm layers pick up the turned neck moulding nicely; a 0.4mm nozzle on FDM copes if you crank the cooling. • Bond the two parts at the collar seam, prime, then paint slate, verdigris or bold fantasy colours.
