Tourelle Droite

A slender spire that turns any model rooftop into a fairy-tale turret. This is an ornamental finial rendered in three stacked forms: a wide bell-shaped foot that flares out like a skirt, a smooth central sphere sitting on its shoulders, and a long tapering needle point that rises to a fine tip. The proportions are classic conical-turret — the kind of pinnacle you picture crowning a castle tower or a fantasy wizard's tower. The file names (corps, pointe, sous-toit, toiture) show it as a modular right-hand turret build: body, spire point, under-roof collar and roof cap, so the piece can be assembled or scaled to sit on a matching tower shaft. It suits diorama builders, tabletop terrain makers, dollhouse roofers and anyone kitbashing fantasy or medieval architecture. It also stands alone as a small decorative obelisk or cake-topper spire. Print notes: • Stand it vertically, tip up, so the needle point resolves cleanly and the sphere stays symmetrical. • The overhang where the spike meets the sphere and where the bell flares will want light tree supports; the flat base needs none. • Resin gives the crispest point; in FDM a 0.4mm nozzle at a fine layer height keeps the taper smooth. Sand the seam on the sphere before painting. Paint it slate grey for stone, verdigris copper for an aged roof, or leave it a bold gloss colour as a shelf ornament.
