Tourelle

A crowning spire that snaps together from five clean pieces. This is a modular turret cap, rendered here in deep cobalt so the silhouette reads clearly: a wide, gently flared canopy sits over a stack of stepped rings that taper down through a bell-shaped throat to a small round finial at the very tip. It is the kind of ornamental spire you slot on top of a tower, gatehouse or fantasy keep to give a plain wall something to point skyward. The five-part breakdown — body, base collar, point, under-roof and roof shell — means each surface can be laid flat for the cleanest possible print before you glue the stack into one solid crown. Builders will like that nothing here needs to be printed as an awkward single lump. The wide roof prints hollow-side-down, the finial and point stand upright on their own footprint, and the collar pieces register onto each other so alignment is almost automatic. Drop it onto scratch-built card towers, resin castle kits or a model-railway signal box and it instantly upgrades the roofline. Print notes • Split as designed: roof concave-side down, finial and point vertical, collars flat — most parts then need little or no support. • PLA is fine for display; PETG or resin if the spire will live outdoors or take handling. • Scale the whole set uniformly so the stacked rings keep their proportions; 100–115% suits 28mm terrain. • Seam-hide the glue joints with a little filler, then prime grey before painting slate, verdigris copper or weathered lead.
