VAN

A boxy cargo van built for a Saturday-morning car chase. This model captures a squared-off full-size van in the mould of the great 1980s TV vans: a slab-sided body, a stubby snout with a chunky grille, and a purposeful tubular brush guard bolted across the front bumper. Up top there's a low roof rack carrying four rectangular running lights, and the flanks carry moulded diagonal bodyline detail where a paint job would go. The grille even wears a small badge, so it reads instantly as a rugged American panel van rather than a generic box. It arrives as two parts — a one-piece main body and a separate wheel set — which keeps the detailed bodyshell easy to print and lets you paint tyres and hubs on their own. It suits diorama builders, shelf collectors and anyone recreating a favourite screen vehicle. Print notes • Orient the body nose-up or roof-down so the brush guard and roof lights print without scarring the smooth side panels; add light supports under the front bar and mirror stubs. • Resin gives the crispest grille and badge detail; FDM at 0.12 mm also holds up well if you sand the roof. • Print wheels flat and glue in after painting the body a bold block colour with a contrasting stripe. • Scale to taste — works as a desk piece or dropped into 1/24 and 1/18 scenes.
