An arched panel blank waiting for its picture. *Vitrail* is French for stained glass, and this is the groundwork for exactly that: a flat, slim tablet whose top rises into a pair of rounded lancet arches divided by a small central dip — the classic twin-light window silhouette. The face shown in the preview is smooth and completely unadorned, a deep blue blank rather than a finished design, which makes it a base plate to build a leaded-glass motif onto, a plaque to letter, or a gothic window for a model. Think of it as scaffolding: cut recesses into the face for coloured resin infills to mimic stained glass, use it as a backing panel behind a printed transparency, or drop it into a diorama as a chapel window. The twin-arch shape also reads nicely as a commemorative tablet. Print notes • Print flat on its back — zero supports, and the front face comes off the bed smooth enough to paint straight away. • For a faux stained-glass effect, model shallow cavities and pour tinted UV or epoxy resin into each, wiping the raised leading lines clean before it cures. • Use a dark filament for the frame and clear or translucent infill parts for a genuine backlit glow. • Add a keyhole or two mounting bosses on the rear if it will hang on a wall.
