An angular blue L-form — a plain corner component waiting for its place in a build. Stripped of any surface detail, this part is a bent panel: two flat rectangular faces meeting at a crisp right angle, one standing tall and the other folding back like the return of a wall or the reveal of a window opening. Named for glazing (*vitres* is French for windowpanes), it most likely serves as a window or corner element in a scale model — the frame around a pane, a wall junction, or a bracketed return where two surfaces meet. Its value is structural and modular rather than decorative: it locks a corner square, defines an opening, or provides a clean face to accept a printed or acetate windowpane behind it. Making notes • Dead simple to print — orient it so one flat face sits on the bed and the L stands up; no supports required. • Print two mirrored copies to close both corners of an opening, or batch several for a repeating façade. • Leave the mating edges square and true; a light chamfer helps them seat flush against adjoining panels. • Prime and paint to match your masonry or timber, and glaze the opening with thin clear sheet for a finished window. A modest, functional building block — the kind of unshowy part that makes a model's architecture sit together properly.
