Description

A commanding portrait head, jaw set and brow furrowed, caught mid-scowl. This is a fully three-dimensional bust modelled from the neck up, and the sculpt leans hard into instantly recognisable, larger-than-life features: a thick sweep of hair combed back and to one side in heavy lacquered waves, deep-set eyes beneath a low knitted brow, pronounced creases running from nose to the corners of a downturned mouth, and full jowls that give the face real heft. Anyone who follows world affairs will clock the likeness at once; it reads as a caricature-leaning portrait of a well-known Western political figure. It is made for collectors of topical busts, desk ornaments and conversation-piece sculptures. Printed small it makes a wry shelf curio; scaled up it becomes a mantel centrepiece or a generous canvas for practising skin-tone and hair painting. Print notes • Resin (SLA/DLP) captures the pores, wrinkles and hair grooves far more faithfully than FDM at this scale. • Turn the face away from the plate and support the chin, nose and the overhanging hair; hollow the interior with a pair of drain holes on larger prints. • The broad cheeks and forehead show layer lines, so give them a light sand before priming. • Clean results come out from about 60 mm tall; go bigger for a display piece and add an internal weight for stability.
