Interlaced Vine Napkin Ring Band

Here's a deep decorative band, think oversized ring or napkin cuff, wrapped the whole way round with an interlaced vine motif that weaves over and under itself, bordered top and bottom by neat rows of small raised teeth. The open centre means it slips over a rolled napkin, a pillar candle or a jar just as readily as it sits on a shelf as a curio. On the router, run it as a rotary 4th-axis job or split it into curved segments; a fine tapered bit gets into the woven crossings cleanly. For FDM, stand it upright on the flat rim so no supports are needed, and take the first layer slowly to keep that open ring true and round.
