Circular Blank Roundel Base Disc

What renders here is a clean circular blank — a flat, perfectly round disc with a slim edge and no carving showing in this preview, so treat it as the base plate for a routed roundel or a tray. As a CNC starting point it's genuinely handy: pocket the centre for an inlay, run a decorative border round the rim, or engrave a name and date across the face. Cut it from a single glued-up board to avoid a seam through the middle, and climb-mill the outer circle last for an edge you'll barely need to sand. A round-over bit softens the lip into a tray; a chamfer keeps it more architectural. Size it to whatever your stock and bed will allow.
